AMLPJFALL04

The last challenge of the evening was to make a thank you card, and I used these cheerful strawberries.

The third challenge was to make a card based on your favorite new or returning tv show. Now that ER has gone off the air, I'm down to no favorite tv show. But I do like to watch Rick Steves Travel shows, so I made a card for Paris in honor of his travels.

Challenge 2 was to make a card using fall colors.

A Muse Lounge Fall Pajama Party

The fall challenge pajama party was Saturday, Sept. 19. The first challenge was to design a card based on your favorite candy. I love Dove dark chocolate nuggets, so I used the colors of dark blue and silver from the wrapper, and the brown dot cardstock for the chocolate. I used silver embossing powder for the glitz.

Amuse Pajama Party

AMLPJ04
The fourth challenge was to make a card inspired by a favorite movie. A favorite during pajama parties is The Sound of Music. So I made a scene of Eidelweiss, the little white Alpine flower.

Since friends are at pajama parties, Challenge 3 was to make a card for your best friend. I would love to give my friend a bouquet of flowers.

Games are a favorite part of pajama parties, so the second challenge was to make a card inspired by a game. We loved to play Freeze Tag on the beach at dusk, and even later. Here is my beach card.

Good eats are mandatory for a successful pajama party. The first challenge was to make a card inspired by your favorite food or drink. I have to say that there isn't a meal, situation or day that can't be improved by a cup of tea, so I chose to make a tea inspired card.

My Prize Package Arrived Today

I'm such a lucky girl! I was chosen as the A muse winner for the VSN on Split Coast Stampers which was held Feb. 20-21. My awesome prize package arrived today. There was a lovely card from Heidi, and a package of kitchen red notecards, two stamps, the balloon and tiny gift, and two Copic markers. I've never tried the copics before, so I am looking forward to experimenting. Thank you, Geeta and the A muse team.

Stamping to the Music

This month's challenge at the A Muse Lounge is to create a card inspired by a song. I chose "Falling in Love at a Coffee Shop" by Langdon Pigg, a very mellow and relaxing song.
I used the Love Mugs stamp from A Muse, and the color brown to carry out the coffee theme.
