Stamping to the Music

This month's challenge at the A Muse Lounge is to create a card inspired by a song. I chose "Falling in Love at a Coffee Shop" by Langdon Pigg, a very mellow and relaxing song.
I used the Love Mugs stamp from A Muse, and the color brown to carry out the coffee theme.

Valentine

Every year I try to participate the the Red Tissue Exchange, a card exchange for calligraphers. I designed this card and lettered it using Hot Cinnamon Twinkling H20 watercolor. I used the A Muse stamp called Heartline for the image.

Train card

My grand-nephew Jacob is a big fan of trains, especially Thomas the Tank Engine. I made him this train card "The Birthday Express" for his 2 year birthday. His mom Deb assures me that he loves the card!

Here is another card which I made from my new stamps. It is from the A muse sushi set. I love the kimono, and I wanted to team it up with some bright origami paper.

Christmas presents

My daughter visited her boyfriend's family in Seattle before Christmas, and she made a shopping expedition to the A muse store. She and my husband teamed up to make my Christmas very a musing! I am so excited to have new stamps to play with. Here is a photo of my newbies, and a card I made using the snow angel.

Christmas projects

I was a busy little person before Christmas. I made cards for the faculty and staff at the school where I work (about 35), using the
A muse snowglobe stamp. I finished those the weekend before the last day of school before the vacation, which was was quite unlike me. But then I was still faced with making the cards to send to our family and friends, which did not get mailed until Dec. 23. I went with a black and white theme this year, and I was happy with how they turned out.

I also made some thank you notes for friends. I chose the A muse gerber daisy and thanks stamps, and made sets of five cards.

VMAA Friends

This challenge was to make a humorous friendship card. It is getting pretty late, so I couldn't really think of anything funny. I did like this quote though, so I decided to use it as the sentiment.
